Banyak siswa yang khawatir dengan dunia kerja antara lain karena lapangan kerja semakin sedikit dan tuntutan skill. Oleh karena itu siswa harus memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap dunia kerja supaya lebih siap terjun dalam dunia kerja. Persepsi terhadap dunia kerja diwarnai oleh variabel pengetahuan kerjasama dan relevansi tempat PKL. Tujuan dari penelitian antara lain untuk mengungkap hubungan antara (1) pengetahuan kerjasama (X₁) dengan persepsi siswa terhadap dunia kerja (Y), (2) relevansi tempat PKL (X₂) dengan persepsi terhadap dunia kerja (Y), (3) pengetahuan kerjasama (X₁) dan relevansi tempat PKL (X₂) dengan persepsi siswa terhadap dunia kerja (Y).

Rancangan penelitian ini adalah eksploratif korelasional. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelas XII SMK bidang TKJ se Kabupaten Jember, Sampel ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling yang akhirnya diperoleh 250 siswa yang tersebar di lima sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan keusioner tertutup untuk mengambil data pada variabel Y, X₁, dan X₂. Penelitian telah melewati tahap uji prasyarat analisis antara lain uji normalitas, linearitas, multikolinearitas, autokorelasi, dan heteroskedastisitas. Analisis korelasi parsial ditentukan untuk mengungkap hubungan X₁ dengan Y dan X₂ dengan Y. Analisis regresi linier ganda untuk mengungkap hubungan X₁ dan X₂ secara simultan dengan Y. Alat bantu analisis menggunakan software SPSS 18.0.

Analisis data menghasilkan F sebesar 105,208 dengan signifikansi 0,000 dan R Square sebesar 0,460. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara (1) X₁ dengan Y, (2) X₂ dengan Y, dan (3) X₁ dan X₂ secara simultan dengan Y. Variabel pengetahuan kerjasama memiliki sumbangan relatif sebesar 63,22% dan variabel relevansi tempat PKL sebesar 36,78% terhadap variabel persepsi siswa terhadap dunia kerja. Sumbangan efektif variabel pengetahuan kerjasama sebesar 29,08% dan variabel relevansi tempat PKL sebesar 16,92% terhadap variabel persepsi siswa terhadap dunia kerja.

Many students are worried with the world of work due to the fewer job opportunities and skill demands. Therefore, students should have a positive perception of the world of work in order to be ready to go into the working world. Perception of the world of work characterized by cooperation knowledge and relevance of job training place variables. The goal of this study are to reveal the significance of the correlation between (1) cooperation knowledge (X₁) with the students perception to the world of work (Y), (2) relevance of job training place (X₂) with the students perception to the world of work (Y), (3) cooperation knowledge (X₁) and relevance of job training place (X₂) the students perception to the world of work (Y).

The design of this study was exploratory correlational. The study was conducted in twelfth grade computer network engineering vocational school in Jember. Samples selected using purposive sampling, finally obtained 250 students in five schools. This study used closed questionnaires to collect data for variables Y, X₁, and X₂. This study had passed the test requirements analysis: normality, linearity, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity. Partial correlation analysis is determined to uncover the correlation X₁ with Y and X₂ with Y. Multiple linear regression analysis to uncover correlation X₁ and X₂ simultaneously with Y. Analysis tools using SPSS 18.0 software.

The result obtained F value of 105.208 with a significance  of 0.000 and R Square of 0.460. The conclusion of this study were there was positive and significant correlation between (1) X₁ with Y, (2) X₂ with Y, and (3) X₁ and X₂ simultaneously with Y.  Cooperation knowledge variable has 63,22% relative contribution & relevance of job training place has 36,78% relative contribution to the students perception to the world of work. Cooperation knowledge variable has 29,08% effective contribution & relevance of job training place has 16,92% effective contribution to the students perception to the world of work.
